this time last year...

well...almost. One year and one week from today we took S to the airport for her African adventure and the snow was melting in the Elg. We even got the van washed at THE Car Wash in Algonquin (or somewhere in the Carpentersville/Crystal Lake/Algonquin area when M and I were on our van washing quest) and they didn't let us pay for it!

But you know snow and Chicagoland. It wasn't long until we couldn't see the ground again. Oh. how. I. miss. it.
