hidden treasures

This weekend found me in so many different places. When I woke up feeling sticky and hot on a couch in Cincinnati, I wasn't feeling an 8 AM drive back to Indiana. So L, B and I talked for a bit, I had some yummy jam and heard the story of its creation via L, and I got to see L's garden! On our way to the garden she pulled a strawberry, lettuce, and a radish out of a pot in the park. Someone had previously planted them there. I chuckled on the inside as I gratefully took the treasures and we continued on our walk. I learn so much from my friends who are lovers of gardening and growing things in the earth. Someday I hope I, too, will have even half of the gardening skills of L and B.
